Creative Textiles

I enjoy making handmade silk papers and eco printing then combining them with other fabrics.
I love to create interesting textures with the embellishment of machine embroidery and hand stitch to create 3D and 2D pieces.
My research explores textiles, art and photography to give a fusion of styles and ideas to create a contemporary version, embracing traditional and new techniques.

My inspiration comes from various natural sources, from scenes within the landscape to close observation of natural organic items.

My latest work incorporates eco printed fabrics and paper using local plants and flowers.
