Ceramics

I love the tactile nature of the ceramic surface. After learning from Chris Lack over many years, I studied at UCA Farnham and completed an MA in Ceramics. I like to experiment with clay and take it in different directions, especially using raised or carved text to create texture.

My work has been inspired by long walks along the south coast beaches and in our beautiful local countryside. I am interested in how we perceive and interact with landscapes past and present.
Residencies and projects at historic locations such as Mottisfont and Danebury have fed into my practice.
